Dr Askew’s main consulting rooms are at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital where he sees both bariatric and general surgery patients.

CABOOLTURE

Dr Askew has recently established consulting at Caboolture Private Hospital for bariatric surgery patients. Surgeries are performed at the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital with initial consultations and follow-up care provided in Caboolture for the convenience of our Moreton Bay Region and North Brisbane patients.

HERVEY BAY

Dr Askew attends Hervey Bay once a month for weight loss surgery consultations with WLSSC colleague Dr Garth McLeod.

Surgeries are performed at the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital or Noosa Private Hospital with initial consultations and follow-up care provided in Hervey Bay for the convenience of our Wide Bay Burnett patients. Please note that the Hervey Bay arm of WLSSC has its own designated administration staff and phone number. Regional Queensland

Telehealth appointments are available for our Regional Queensland weight loss surgery patients using Skype and Google Hangouts. We have dedicated a Skype account for our patients who reside or work outside of the Sunshine Coast or Northern Brisbane areas who need appointment flexibility.

Skype appointments can be held for initial and post-operative bariatric consultations with our entire care team - surgeon, dietitians and psychologist. This is supported by telephone and email support from our administration team.

Our Telehealth program has been set up to ensure that even if you’re unable to attend the Practice in person that you can stay connected with us. This enables you to receive the ongoing care required to help in achieving and maintaining your weight loss goals following bariatric surgery.
